1. Gardening & Landscape
What a better way to welcome spring than working in the garden and enjoying beautiful flowers or fresh veggies that you grew yourself?!Â
Whether you are starting a garden for the first time or updating your garden, be sure to add all the needed supplies, updated tools and plants to your April budget.Â
2. Taxes
Taxes are due on April 15th, if your tax return is complicated or you are a business owner and want to maximize your deductions consider hiring a tax professional.Â
Also be sure to factor into your April budget if you will owe money. If you are receiving a tax refund check come up with a plan for that money ahead of time, whether its debt payoff, savings, or investing it’s important to have that plan ahead of time so you don’t spend it carelessly.Â
3. Organization and Spring-Cleaning Supplies
With this weather, you might feel inspired to declutter and tidy up. However, buying storage bins and eco-friendly cleaning products can add up.
As you declutter, why not consider selling some items? You can list them for sale online or organize a traditional garage sale to offset the expenses of cleaning supplies (and perhaps earn a bit extra to tackle other items on your to-do list!).
