November 2018 Side Hustle Report – $1,039.45

Hi Friends! This is my 3^rd month doing my side hustle updates and it was my best month yet. November was a very exciting month for me, not only was it Thanksgiving but also I finally bought my dream car after saving for just over a year!

Side hustle was a huge part of paying off my debt, cash flowing my wedding, cashing flowing my new (to me) car, now that those are in the past I still use side hustle to hit my new financial goals!

Each month I will share with you my side hustles, how they went and if I started any new ones, which I actually did this month!

Now for what you have been waiting for! My November Side Hustles from smallest to largest!

Here is how I made $1,039.45 this month!

YouTube Ads: $336.40

November was my biggest month on Youtube yet! YouTube was a HUGE jump for me and surprisingly has become a huge passion of mine and has become an incredible business. I have a goal to reach 15,000 subscribers by the end of 2018 and right now I am on track to hit that goal! The #DebtFreeCommunity and weight loss community are so incredible and MOTIVATING!!

Graphic Design: $242.45

My husband is a lighting designer now but he started as a graphic designer on staff for a church in college. He now just does graphics on the side or for my blog or youtube channel but every once in a while he will pick up a client.

Affiliate Marketing: $79.17

Affiliate Marketing is a really fun side hustle but it can also be challenging. I am very passionate about who and what I support and always vet all companies that I support. My most recent companies that I have endorsed are TeamiTea, an incredible tea with so many health benefits and now they have expanded to a whole skincare line! Use BUDGET18 for 18% off your order! Ebates: $79.05

Ebates is my favorite tool to make money online from purchases that I am already going to spend. They have a Chrome Plugin with a pop up that says “Would you like to activate 5% CASH BACK?” … Ummm YES PLEASE!! At the end of the quarter they add up all of your cash back and send a nice deposit to your checking account OR they have a list of stores that you can chose with an EXTRA 5-15% cash back in the form of an e-gift card to that store!

Mystery Shopping: $75

Mystery Shopping a fairly new side hustle to me of about 3-4 months. It was a little scary at first trying to remember all of the questions I have to ask and remember everyone’s name but now I can be in and out in 10 minutes with an extra $8-$20 in my pocket per shop!

Etsy: 62.64

At the beginning of October, I decided to take the plunge and open my own Etsy shop! I am now selling Excel Budget templates and Excel wedding budget templates, both for $5 each! I have some more ideas of future templates and printables but let me know if you have any requests!

Sponsored Content: $48.25

It took me over 2.5 years on YouTube before I finally agreed to do my first sponsored video. I have been approached by numerous companies but didn’t believe in their company or product. I care about you all so much and would only recommend something that I truly believe in and use myself!

Amazon Affiliates: $40.25

Affiliating marketing is one my new favorite ways to make an income by just directing people to use my Amazon Link! When someone purchases through my link it doesn’t cost them anymore but I receive a VERY SMALL percent of their sale … yes its small but it all adds up, right?!

YouTube and Money Coaching: $35.00

I’ve been approached by a couple people wanting to start a YouTube channel but afraid to take the jump or have a million questions now that they have a channel. They asked if I would be willing to do skype coaching calls and decided to give it a whirl! I started my YouTube channel in April of 2016 and have learned quite a lot of what to do and not do in the past couple of years.

Coworker’s Lunch: $31.00

This side hustle was not something I thought would ever happen but it came from my calling out my coworker on his spending so much on eating out and making bad food decisions. I told him that I would make extra of my weekly meal prep for him and he would save so much money… well he put his money where my mouth is and took my up on it!

Each week I tell him what I am making for meal prep and he tells me how many meals he wants that week, typically is 3-5 meals. I charge him the cost of the groceries and round up a couple dollars so I can make some money. It doesn’t take me any more effort (except for trying to find extra matching Tupperware lids) to make his meals and it’s a win-win for both of us. The first month he was BLOWN AWAY at how much money he was spending on eating out and how much he was able to put towards his credit cards!!

Earny: $6.16

Earny is a really cool app that automatically gets you money back on almost every item you buy. The app will find better prices you bought and gets you back the difference.

Poshmark: $4.06

Poshmark is a great way to declutter your home and make a little bit of cash in the process. One of my favorite parts of Poshmark is the buyer pays shipping and they will send you a prepaid shipping label so all you have to do is list you item and then after it sells, print out the label and send it off!
