September 2019 Side Hustle Report – $1,198.76

In 2019 I am really working on reinvesting in myself and my business, I jumped in head first and took my first course, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing which I feel like brought my business to a whole new level. Here is how I made $1,198.76 this month, $1,130.00 of that was business revenue!

Affiliate Marketing: $514.41

Affiliate Marketing is a really fun side hustle, I took a course this month called Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing and it really taught me a lot on how to expand my brand and knowledge of how to do affiliate marketing correctly. September was a really fun month on YouTube! Some of my top videos were My $1,000+ Robinhood Stock Portfolio, First Time Homebuyers – Our Biggest FEARS and Exciting Moments – Feat  Marissa Lyda, The Budgeting and Why is ALDI So CHEAP??. One of the first videos I EVER made HOW I SPEND ONLY $100 ON GROCERIES A MONTH! (so sorry that the quality is so poor) hit 100,000 VIEWS!

Etsy: $100.42

I am having so much fun with my Etsy shop! I am now selling my Monthly Excel Budget Template, Annual Budget Template, Vacation Budget Template and Wedding Budget Template! I have some more ideas of future templates and pintables but let me know if you have any requests!

Sell Wedding Lanterns: $36.00

I’ve had 4 lanterns sitting in one of my closets for over two years from our wedding. One of my coworkers is getting married so I asked her if she would be interested in buying them as centerpieces. Not only did I de-clutter but I also gave a friend some super cute lanterns at a discounted price!  

Meal Prep for Coworkers: $30.00

I have been making lunches for one of my coworkers for a couple months now. It is so simple to make a couple extra servings of the lunches I am already preparing for myself. This past month I received a new client and am now making lunches for three coworkers! I’ve gotten a lot of questions as to how much I charge, how I prep the food, how I advertise; I made a video answering all of your questions How I Made a Side Hustle of Meal Prepping for My Coworkers.

Robinhood Referral Stock: $23.18

As you all know, I have jumped into the world of investing. I’ve been contributing to my Roth IRA and 401(k) for years but haven’t explored outside of that. About 6 months ago I started researching Robinhood and M1 Finance. Both are incredible investing apps, especially for beginners. When you sign up with Robinhood you get a free stock as do I, so it’s a win-win for both!

Dividends: $2.76

As you can see, my dividends are pretty low for the month of September, but honestly, I am so excited to see this! Investing in Dividend Stocks through Robinhood and M1 Finance are an incredible way to make passive income in the long run. Most dividends are paid quarterly so receiving a few monthly dividends is a great surprise. I am growing my portfolio by about $500-$1,000 every month!
