Which Is Cheaper? Dollar Tree VS. Walmart

Inflation is through the roof right now leading us to find the best deals to save money.

Now that the Dollar Tree has raised their prices to $1.25, are they cheaper than Walmart?

Let’s find out!

>> Watch: BUY THIS NOT THAT | Dollar Tree VS Walmart

Does buying in bulk save you money?

We are taught that buying in bulk is going to save you money and you will pay less per ounce or per unit.

But is buying in bulk REALLY saving you money?

First, you want to compare the cost per ounce.

Second, evaluate if you truly need that much of an item.

For example, if you only need one onion for a recipe then buying a whole bag of onions is going to cost you more, even though you are paying more per onion, and it will result in you wasting food.

Now, if you are going to use the item eventually, like toilet paper, then it will save you money to buy in bulk if the cost per unit is truly cheaper.
