11 Kitchen Essentials To Save You Money

Did you know that groceries and food is on average the first highest line item in a person’s budget? Here are some of my favorite kitchen products that save me money, reduce food waste, and help the environment!

Reusable Ziplock Bags

My husband and I used to go through countless ziplock bags a day before we started to work towards going zero waste. We stumbled upon these reusable ziplock bags and let me tell you, they are a game changer!!

Not buying plastic water bottles saves us so much money over time but is also saving plastic from going into our landfills. 

This tumbler comes in a variety of colors but we all know teal is my favorite! It also comes with a lit that closes, 2 stainless steel straws, and a straw cleaning brush.

Silicone Straws Set

I’ve tried all of the reusable straws and silicone are by far my favorite. This straw set comes with 12 Standard Reusable Drinking Straws, 4 Carry Pouch, and 2 Cleaning Brushes. They are certificated Food Grade Platinum Silicone and 8 1/2″ Long.

I love that this set comes with carrying pouches that I can keep a set or two of straws in my purse. Living in South Florida the restaurants here only provide paper straws, while I love that they are better for the environment and sea turtles, I just can’t get over the texture of paper straws.
